Severn Valley Railway

Severn Valley Railway located in Bridgnorth is a wonderful day out for all the family.  It has six stations and runs for 16 miles between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster.  A must see for anyone visiting the local area.

England's oldest and steepest electrical railway the Cliff Railway is a fantastic way to travel between low town and high town whilst taking in the breath-taking views over the River Severn.

Dudmaston Estate

There are several National Trust properties within the area, with the closest being Dudmaston Estate.  With its stunning house and a variety of walks to choose from, there is something for everyone, even a tea room!

Bridgnorth Castle and Grounds

Visit the remains of the Castle that once was, and take a walk through the peaceful and calming gardens.  Explore the Castle Walk where you can see some absolutely stunning views of the River Severn and beyond.

Shropshire Towns

There are several picturesque towns only a short drive away.  Take a walk around the town, explore the history or enjoy a relaxing coffee in one of the many cafes or restaurants. 

In the picturesque town of Bewdley there is West Midlands Safari Park, an amazing day out for all animal lovers. 

Visit the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge where the industrial revolution began.

Further afield...

We have the three large shopping centres all 30-40 minutes away at most including Telford, Shrewsbury and Merry Hill

Telford also boasts the Award Winning Town Park, where you can try your hand at disc golf, the high ropes or enjoy a walk around the gardens.

Or take a trip to Weston Park where you can explore the grounds, the children can enjoy the adventure playground and take a trip on their miniature railway.
